21:1. ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ರಾಜನಾದ ಅಹಾಬನಿಗೆ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಮನೆಯಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಹಿತ್ತಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿತೋಟವಿತ್ತು. ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನವನಾದ ನಾಬೋತನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ತೋಟದ ಒಡೆಯನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

21:1. ಇವುಗಳ ತರುವಾಯ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಇಜ್ರೆಲಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಾಬನ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಜ್ರೆಲ್ಯನಾದ ನಾಬೋತನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟವಿತ್ತು.

21:1. After this the following episode took place. Naboth the Jezreelite owned a vineyard in Jezreel adjacent to the palace of King Ahab of Samaria.
